Engagement 3-2-2020

I envision myself being a teacher after graduation. Preferably a high school English teacher. I think Brandt’s ideologies apply directly to this. I will have to have a lot of knowledge not only of the subject I am going to be teaching but knowledge of how to teach as well. I imagine writing will be almost the entirety of this career. Whether giving feedback to students or writing emails back to parents, writing will be involved in every step. I hope the stakes of my writing will be low but with that being said, you never know with how the job market operates now. I think that because once I get the job the job itself pretty much revolves around writing. Without one, you can’t have the other.
